SMART is continually improving their SMART Response line. Here is a recap of the entire line, now and upcoming:

With three new products and a software upgrade for the entire line, the SMART Response interactive response product line now offers a solution for every learning environment. New features include math equation and text entry, compatibility with eInstruction™ ExamView® software, flexible exporting of results, support for more students per classroom and more.

The new SMART Response line

SMART Response LE – For early education and special needs classrooms (available now).

SMART Response PE – (NEW) For primary to middle school. Texting and numeric functionality (available now).

SMART Response XE – (New) For secondary school. Full QWERTY keyboard and advanced math and science support (available June 2010 – see it now on the SMART Response XE product page).

SMART Response CE – For 1:1 classrooms and computer-enabled learning environments (available now as a standalone product or as part of SMART Classroom Suite).

SMART Response VE – (New) For Internet-enabled devices, such as cell phones and PDAs. Ideal for pilot projects, distance learning and large classrooms (beta release June 2010).

The no-charge SMART Response software 3.0 upgrade
- The SMART Response software 3.0 upgrade, available May 2010 for the entire product line, will include the following:
- Support for mixed SMART Response models in the same classroom
- Compatibility with ExamView software
- Flexible export of student results for better compatibility with district reporting

This software upgrade, along with the addition of the new models to the line, makes SMART Response the most complete interactive response offering available today. The line offers more features for education than any competing products, plus seamless integration with SMART Notebook™ interactive learning software.
